Some Ogallala highlights

We stayed at a "beach house" in Ogallala, and actually arrived within 30 min of each other, coming from the east and the west

Lia lost a tooth in NE!
Lucy was overheard, as this pic was taken, discrediting the tooth fairy to her nieces....!!!!
enough snow remained on the ground to make a snowman




A walk around the lake on a brisk, breezy (freezing/windy if you like) day
The only trees around there are cottonwood, many in the weathered condition of this one!
Our visit was filled with love and laughter--such a blessing to see all the Irwins!
Leaving in the early darkness, we witnessed the sunrise after about an hour of driving...see the morning star Venus above the horizon?
Safe to say it's changed a bit!
